Thunder 1 Evo

A Dualtron Thunder 1 Evo with almost nothing left stock. Red and green, engineered for the racetrack, and ready to turn its rider into a formidable contender.

The Mechanics

The base chassis is a Thunder 1 Evo, but very little of it remains after passing through our workshop. Two Rage Mechanics XHS-75 motors mounted on our custom CNC-machined aluminum rims, wrapped in PMT 90 slicks.

Braking is handled by Hope Tech 4 V4 calipers in black and red, biting on 160 mm, 3 mm thick E-Watts rotors.

Electronics and Finishing

A C350 controller pack for Thunder, housed in an enclosure designed and manufactured by Rage Mechanics, an 80 V 32 Ah battery, and the SmartDisplay—the signature component found on every machine rolling out of our workshop.

Red and green epoxy powder coating, Ferrari Red Rage Mechanics braided sleeving, custom 3D-printed phase cable combs and steering column clamps. The result: around 30,000 W, over 150 km/h top speed, and an expected 0 to 100 km/h time of around 6 seconds.
