A motor that runs hard heats up; a motor that heats up loses torque and wears out its magnets. This 6-blade cooling fan, 3D-printed in PETG, attaches to the cable-side flange and forces air through the motor to lower the temperature during intensive use or competition. Compatible with all our MHS, MHT, XHS, XHT motor ranges.
Installation
Flange drilling: 10 mm diameter holes for airflow
Attachment via M4 screw to be drilled and tapped
Cable side of the motor
Installation direction: the base design is intended for a rear motor with right-side ventilation. If you need the other direction (front motor, or left-side ventilation), please specify it when ordering.
Good to know
A ventilated motor is no longer waterproof: reserved for dry/track use, or to be protected by a grille. We can perform the drilling and installation in our workshop upon request.
