The retrofit workshop challenge
A vintage frame was not designed to house a battery, and each model comes with its own mounting dimensions.
Generic kits sold online rarely deliver the advertised power and are no longer supported after a few months.
A retrofit must also be homologated, which requires identified components and documented specifications.
