The Odyssr Drift Dual, as delivered by the manufacturer
35 kg, two motors, 60 km/h: the Drift Dual is the gateway to dual-motor scooters, and its original steering column is its known weak point.
Usage type: daily riding, tight budget, a first dual-motor scooter.
Restricted to 25 km/h on public roads; the indicated speeds are those of the manufacturer on private land, and ranges are measured by the manufacturer under their test conditions.
This is a brand-new machine from the manufacturer, where the original folding steering column is replaced by a grade 9 titanium column machined in Lyon, featuring a 31.8 mm MTB stem and a 740 mm carbon handlebar. The entire assembly is mounted, torque-tightened, and inspected in our workshop before shipment.
What is the difference compared to the same machine purchased elsewhere?
The steering. On the original machine, the folding column develops play over the kilometers. The titanium column is fixed: there is no folding, so no play develops. The rest of the machine is identical to the manufacturer's.
What is the delivery time?
Each pack is assembled upon order. The lead time depends on the manufacturer's stock availability; it will be confirmed to you by email once the order has been placed.
Do I have 14 days to withdraw?
No. The pack is assembled upon your request: it is a customized item, excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal (article L. 221-28, 3° du Code de la consommation). You may cancel free of charge as long as assembly has not begun. The legal and manufacturer warranties remain unchanged.
Is the manufacturer's warranty maintained?
Yes. The machine retains its manufacturer's warranty, and Rage Mechanics manages it directly from our workshop in Lyon. The parts we manufacture are covered by a two-year commercial warranty, including labor at the workshop.
How fast can you ride?
On public roads in France, the machine is restricted to 25 km/h. The speeds announced by the manufacturer are recorded on private land, and the ranges are measured by the manufacturer under its own test conditions.
Can I buy just the titanium steering column?
Yes, the steering column is sold separately for this machine. We can install it at our Lyon workshop by appointment, or ship it to you for installation at home.
The Titanium Edition is the Odyssr Drift Dual electric scooter just as we would like it to come out of the factory: the stock steering column is removed before the first ride and replaced by our Grade 9 titanium column (84 cm from the deck to the stem), featuring a collar and adapter machined from 7075 aluminum, a short 31.8 mm MTB stem, and 740 mm carbon handlebars. Everything is assembled, torque-tightened, and checked in our workshop in Lyon, then the machine is repacked in its original box.
Why? Because on a Drift Dual, weighing 35 kg with dual motors and capable of 60 km/h: the Drift Dual is the gateway to dual-motor scooters, and its stock column is its well-known weak point. The titanium column eliminates this weak point: no folding mechanism, no developing play, direct steering, and a lighter front end. You can ride immediately, without needing a workshop visit after six months.
What the bundle includes
New Odyssr Drift Dual, with its manufacturer warranty and all original accessories (charger, keys, manual);
Rage Mechanics titanium steering column kit 84 cm: Grade 9 titanium tube, 7075 collar and stem adapter, 3D-printed display mount — view the column details;
Short 31.8 mm stem and 740 mm carbon handlebars;
Workshop assembly: removal of the stock column, installation of the titanium column and stem, torque-tightening, and quality check. The handlebars are supplied ready to bolt on (4 screws, specified torque) to fit in the original box;
The stock column, if you want it: just mention it in the order comments, otherwise it stays at the workshop.
Purchased separately, machine + column + stem + handlebars + assembly total 1,732.98 €. The Titanium Edition is priced at 1,689 €: a 44 € saving, and a single point of contact for the warranty.
Made to order: how it works
The machine is ordered from our distributor upon validation of your payment, then prepared in the workshop: allow approximately 15 days before shipping, an indicative timeframe that depends on supply — we will notify you if it changes. The bundle is assembled upon your request: this is a custom product, excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal; however, you can cancel free of charge as long as assembly has not started. The manufacturer warranty for the machine remains unchanged for everything we do not modify; the steering and installed parts are warranted by Rage Mechanics.
