This is a brand-new machine from the manufacturer, where the original folding steering column is replaced by a grade 9 titanium column machined in Lyon, featuring a 31.8 mm MTB stem and a 740 mm carbon handlebar. The entire assembly is mounted, torque-tightened, and inspected in our workshop before shipment.
The steering. On the original machine, the folding column develops play over the kilometers. The titanium column is fixed: there is no folding, so no play develops. The rest of the machine is identical to the manufacturer's.
Each pack is assembled upon order. The lead time depends on the manufacturer's stock availability; it will be confirmed to you by email once the order has been placed.
No. The pack is assembled upon your request: it is a customized item, excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal (article L. 221-28, 3° du Code de la consommation). You may cancel free of charge as long as assembly has not begun. The legal and manufacturer warranties remain unchanged.
Yes. The machine retains its manufacturer's warranty, and Rage Mechanics manages it directly from our workshop in Lyon. The parts we manufacture are covered by a two-year commercial warranty, including labor at the workshop.
On public roads in France, the machine is restricted to 25 km/h. The speeds announced by the manufacturer are recorded on private land, and the ranges are measured by the manufacturer under its own test conditions.
Yes, the steering column is sold separately for this machine. We can install it at our Lyon workshop by appointment, or ship it to you for installation at home.
The Titanium Edition is the Dualtron Thunder 3 electric scooter just as we wish it came from the factory: the original steering column is removed before its first ride and replaced by our Grade 9 titanium column (84 cm from the deck to the stem), featuring a collar and adapter machined from 7075 aluminum, a short 31.8 mm MTB stem, and a 740 mm carbon handlebar. Everything is assembled, torque-checked, and inspected in our workshop in Lyon, and the machine is then packed back into its original box.
Why? Because on a Thunder 3, the benchmark Dualtron: 10 kW peak power, 72V, a proven chassis — and the Minimotors column, whose folding play is the number one topic of conversation among owners. The titanium column eliminates this weak point: no folding mechanism, no developing play, direct steering, and a lighter front end. You can ride right away, without having to visit the workshop after six months.
Purchased separately, machine + column + stem + handlebar + assembly total 3,279.98 €. The Titanium Edition is priced at 3,139 €: save 141 €, with a single point of contact for your warranty.
The machine is ordered from our distributor upon payment confirmation, then prepared in our workshop: allow approximately 15 days before shipping, an indicative timeframe depending on supply availability — we will notify you if it changes. The pack is assembled upon request: it is a personalized product, and the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply; however, you can cancel free of charge as long as assembly has not yet begun. The manufacturer warranty for the machine remains unchanged for all untouched parts; the steering and installed components are warranted by Rage Mechanics.
