Teverun Fighter Supreme or Dualtron Thunder 3: Which one should you choose?

The Teverun Fighter Supreme and the Dualtron Thunder 3 are two of the most popular high-performance electric scooters. They target the same audience: riders who want to exceed 100 km/h on the track and enjoy long rides. We are working on both models, and we offer them both in a Titanium Edition. Here's how they compare, with the figures announced by their manufacturers.

The essentials

  • Both machines are 72V and feature two motors, with a top speed of over 100 km/h.
  • The Supreme features a large 60 Ah battery, while the Thunder 3 boasts a proven chassis and the widest selection of aftermarket parts.
  • Both models share the same weakness: a folding steering column that tends to develop play.
  • To customize the machine further, the Thunder 3 offers more options; however, if you want to ride a long distance right away, the Supreme has the advantage.

There is also a Fighter Supreme Plus model, which features the same 72V 60Ah battery, a steering damper, and a fast charger. The power ratings announced by the two brands are not necessarily measured in the same way: see our guide on measuring actual power.

The battery and its range

With a 60 Ah battery at 72 V, the Supreme boasts a very large battery: this is its main selling point for those who travel long distances. Currently, we do not have a "Performance" battery option available for the Thunder 3; our "Performance" batteries are designed for the Thunder and Thunder 2 models. However, our extended deck kit, compatible with the Thunder 3, has been designed to accommodate a high-capacity 22S battery with the controllers inside. See our guide for preparing a Dualtron Thunder.

The steering

This is the least flattering commonality. On the Thunder 3, the play in the original steering column is the number one concern for owners. On the Fighter range, the original steering column, common to all models, develops play at the folding point, becomes loose, and flexes at high speeds. In both cases, our titanium steering columns correct this defect.

Parts and preparation

The Thunder is the model for which we offer the most parts: CNC arms with caliper mounts on both sides, and a extended deck kit for a larger battery with the controllers inside. It's a great base for extensive modifications. For the Fighter, our offerings focus on the steering system: see our guide on the Teverun Fighter.

Our opinion:

  • You want to ride far, right away, with a complete machine: the Fighter Supreme, in Ultra version for maximum power, or in Plus version for the steering damper.
  • Want to upgrade your machine? From the battery to the brakes, the deck, all the way to the track: the Thunder 3.

In both cases, start with the steering and brakes. See our guide on braking for a powerful electric scooter and our selection of the most powerful electric scooters of 2026.

Workshop tip

If possible, try both models. Riding position, handlebar height, and throttle response are factors that specifications don't reveal, and they significantly impact the riding experience.

Yes: The Thunder 3, Supreme Plus, and Supreme Ultra models are available in a Titanium Edition, which includes our titanium steering column, professionally installed and configured in our workshop.

Can you ride it on the road?

On public roads, electric scooters are designed to be limited to a maximum speed of 25 km/h. Please refer to our guide on laws and unlocking (debridement) for more information.
