The most powerful electric scooters of 2026, as seen by a workshop
Every year, electric scooters become more powerful and faster. The most powerful models expected in 2026 are boasting speeds of over 100 km/h and power outputs of several thousand watts. We see these scooters coming into the workshop, we prepare them, and we equip some of them with our titanium uprights. This guide introduces the models we know best, and more importantly, what to look for beyond the numbers.
The essentials
- The power figures provided by manufacturers are not always directly comparable: they may refer to peak power or nominal power, and can be specified per motor or for the total system.
- The battery voltage primarily determines the top speed, while the current it delivers dictates the acceleration.
- On these machines, braking and steering are just as important as the motor.
- A common weakness found in most of these models is the folding steering column.
The models we are most familiar with
The figures below are those announced by the manufacturers, as we present them in our product specifications. A blank cell indicates that we do not have a reliable figure to provide.
| Model | Tension | Advertised power | Advertised speed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dualtron New Storm LTD 2026 | 84 V | 11.5 kW | 120 km/h |
| Teverun Fighter 7260R V6 2026 | 72 V | 2 x 4,000 W | 110 km/h |
| Teverun Fighter Supreme Ultra V4 2026 | 72 V | 8,000 W | 105 km/h |
| Dualtron Thunder 3 | 72 V | 2 x 4,000 W, peak power of 10 kW | Over 100 km/h |
| Rovoron S7 | 84 V | 7.6 kW | |
| Teverun Fighter 11 V6 2026 | 60 V | 85 km/h | |
| Dualtron Victor Limited 2026 | 85 km/h |
Dualtron New Storm LTD 2026
The most powerful of the Dualtron models: 84V, with a claimed 11.5 kW of power and a top speed of 120 km/h, weighing in at over 45 kg. At that speed, precise steering without any play is not just a matter of comfort; it's a safety issue.
Teverun Fighter 7260R
The flagship model from Teverun: 72V, a 60Ah battery, 13-inch wheels, and a claimed top speed of 110 km/h. See our guide on the Teverun Fighter steering column preparation.
Teverun Fighter Supreme Ultra
The Supreme, in its most powerful version: 8,000W, 72V 60Ah, and a claimed top speed of 105 km/h. The Supreme Plus, a more restrained option, retains the same battery but includes a steering damper and a fast charger.
Dualtron Thunder 3
The benchmark Dualtron, with a proven chassis and the widest selection of aftermarket parts. See our guide on how to customize a Dualtron Thunder, and our comparison of the Teverun Fighter Supreme vs. the Dualtron Thunder 3.
Rovoron S7
This machine, manufactured by a company within the Minimotors group, is advertised as having an 84V system and a power output of 7.6 kW. It uses the same folding mechanism and steering column as the Thunder 3, and shares the same weaknesses.
And one level below
The Teverun Fighter 11 (60V, 39 kg, claimed top speed of 85 km/h) and its version, the 11 Plus, which features a large battery, adjustable suspension, and standard four-piston brakes; the Dualtron Victor Limited 2026 (39 kg, 85 km/h); the Dualtron New Achilleus Limited 2026 (60V, 42 kg, 11-inch wheels); and the Dualtron Sonic Alien, with its reinforced tubular frame, Samsung 50S cells, and CAN bus electronics.
Read the numbers
Two scooters advertised with the same power output can perform very differently. Peak power is only sustained for a few seconds; a "2 x 4000W" rating often refers to the power of each motor. And the actual power depends on the current that the battery can deliver. See our guide on measuring actual power and the one on the difference between voltage and current.
What a workshop considers before making a purchase
- Steering Column: Most of these machines have a folding steering column that develops play. This is the most common issue we fix, using our titanium steering columns.
- Brakes: A machine weighing over 40 kg and capable of speeds exceeding 100 km/h requires braking that is up to the task. See our guide on braking for a powerful electric scooter.
- The battery: Its capacity determines the range, and its maximum current determines what the machine can truly deliver. A battery that is too weak will cause the motor to cut out during acceleration: see our guide on scooters that cut out during acceleration.
- Parts and Maintenance: A machine for which you can find parts and a workshop that knows how to service it will last longer.
Our Titanium Editions
We offer thirteen of these machines in the Titanium Edition: a brand new scooter, with its manufacturer's warranty and original accessories, but featuring our titanium stem, a short handlebar stem, and a carbon fiber handlebar, all pre-installed, torque-tightened, and inspected in our workshop in Lyon.
Workshop tip
Choose the scooter based on how you will actually use it. A 45 kg scooter capable of 120 km/h is a track machine; for road use, a lighter scooter, limited to the legally allowed speed, will be more enjoyable and safer.
And what about the law?
On public roads, an electric scooter must be limited by design to 25 km/h. The speeds mentioned here refer to track use and private property: see our guide on laws and unlocking.
Frequently Asked Questions
What will be the most powerful electric scooter of 2026?
Among the models we offer, the Dualtron New Storm LTD 2026 boasts the highest figures: 84V, 11.5 kW, and a top speed of 120 km/h. However, the advertised power doesn't tell the whole story; brakes, steering, and battery performance are equally important.
Teverun or Dualtron?
Both brands offer very powerful machines. See our detailed comparison between the Teverun Fighter Supreme and the Dualtron Thunder 3.
Can these scooters be used on roads?
On public roads, electric scooters are designed to be limited to a maximum speed of 25 km/h. Their maximum performance is achieved on closed circuits and private property.
What does a Titanium Edition offer?
The same brand new machine, with its warranty, but delivered with a titanium steering column that won't develop any play, professionally installed and inspected in our workshop, and with a single point of contact for warranty issues.
