Dualtron Sonic Alien — Titanium Edition

The Sonic Alien, without the steering play

The Titanium Edition is the Dualtron Sonic Alien electric scooter as we would like it to come from the factory: the original steering column is removed before the first ride and replaced by our grade 9 titanium column (84 cm from deck to stem), with ring and adapter machined from 7075 aluminum, a short 31.8 mm MTB stem, and a 740 mm carbon handlebar. Everything is assembled, torque-tightened, and checked in our Lyon workshop, then the machine is shipped back in its original box.

Why? Because on a Sonic Alien, the new Dualtron generation: reinforced tubular chassis, Samsung 50S cells, CAN bus electronics — and finally a steering column that lives up to the standard, in titanium. The titanium column eliminates the weak point: no folding, no developing play, direct steering, and a lighter front end. You ride right away, without having to visit the workshop after six months.

What's in the pack

• New Dualtron Sonic Alien, with its manufacturer warranty and all original accessories (charger, keys, manual);
• Rage Mechanics 84 cm titanium steering column kit: grade 9 titanium tube, 7075 ring and stem adapter, 3D printed display mount — see the column product page;
• Short 31.8 mm stem and 740 mm carbon handlebar;
• Workshop assembly: removal of the original column, assembly of the column and stem, torque-tightening, inspection. The handlebar is delivered to be screwed on (4 screws, torque indicated) to fit in the original box;
• The original column, if you want it: let us know in the order comments, otherwise it stays at the workshop.

Separately, machine + column + stem + handlebar + assembly comes to €3,389.98. The Titanium Edition is €3,239: €151 savings, and a single point of contact for the warranty.

On order: how it works

The machine is ordered from our distributor upon payment validation, then prepared in the workshop: allow approximately 15 days before shipping, an indicative lead time that depends on supply — we will notify you if it changes. The pack is assembled upon your request: it is a personalized product, without the 14-day right of withdrawal; however, you can cancel free of charge as long as assembly has not begun. The manufacturer's warranty for the machine remains unchanged for everything we do not touch; the steering and the installed parts are guaranteed by Rage Mechanics.
