Many golf courses, campsites, and hotels operate carts with lead-acid batteries that wear out quickly and whose models are no longer supported by the manufacturer.
Replacing the entire fleet is expensive, even though the chassis, bodywork, and seats are still in good condition.
Operators primarily want to know which cart is charged, which one is used the most, and which one needs to go to the workshop.
