E’TROTT RACING Awards: Rage Mechanics and its riders in the spotlight!

The complete podium with Eric Sévère in the center and all categories represented
On Sunday, December 17, the award ceremony for the E’TROTT RACING FFM, the Ile-de-France league championship, took place in Mennecy. Since January 2023, electric scooters have been an official discipline of the French Motorcycling Federation. It was an opportunity for Rage Mechanics and its riders to shine on the podiums.
Two events determined this ranking: the first on July 16, 2023, at the Anthoine Hubert international circuit in Angerville, and the second on August 26 and 27, 2023, at the Circuit Carole in Tremblay during the Superbike.
In the racing category (machines over 38 kg), Emmanuel Bulinge, official rider for Rage Mechanics in 2023, finished 3rd in the general ranking. A great display of consistency with 4 top-5 finishes out of the 8 races run; a performance achieved thanks in particular to his machine fully equipped by Rage Mechanics and his riding talent.

2nd place went to Thibaud Ray, showing great consistency with four 2nd-place and one 3rd-place finishes out of 8 races, giving him 316 points. He rides for Greenzone and uses two Rage Mechanics motors (MHS70 and MHT70 depending on the track).

1st place in this racing category was awarded to Raphael Pere Mouetaux, official rider for Rage Mechanics in 2023. A great season with six 1st-place and two 2nd-place finishes, for a total of 354 points. This victory was made possible in part thanks to his machine, the Rage Mechanics SR-One. Based on a Nami Burn-e chassis and completely redesigned to aim for track performance.

In the Racing category, Mathilde Liégeois was also highlighted as the sole female participant in the competition. She scored 230 points and finished 8th in the general ranking.
In the Light category (machines under 38 kg), Emanuel Torrent finished 2nd in the general ranking with 174 points. He competed in the first round at Angerville on a fully Rage Mechanics-prepared setup in the Racing category.

What's new for 2024

On the rider front, there will be changes for 2024 at Rage Mechanics; Quentin Martinet and Raphael Pere Mouetaux's contracts are not being renewed. Emmanuel Torrent's contract ended after the Angerville event. Emmanuel Bulinge remains a rider for this season. As for new additions, Mathilde Liégeois and Malo le Coz have both signed for the racing category and are joining Rage Mechanics.
