The Thunder 3 is one of Dualtron's most powerful electric scooters: 2 × 4,000 W, over 100 km/h top speed. At this level of performance, the stock column quickly reaches its limits: play in the folding mechanism, regular loosening, and flex in fast corners.

The Rage Mechanics titanium steering column kit for Dualtron Thunder 3 permanently fixes this issue: it replaces the stock column with a high-performance, rigid, lightweight, and indestructible assembly, mounted on the original folding system.

⚠️ Installation tips

Before installation, make sure the headset cups and bearings are in good condition. After installation, check the tightening torque after the first few kilometers.

➡️ Why does the stock Dualtron Thunder 3 column loosen or develop play?

The stock column is made of standard steel or aluminum: it stretches and twists under impact, hard braking, and acceleration. The Rage Mechanics grade 9 titanium version eliminates this phenomenon.

➡️ Is this kit really more rigid?

Yes. The grade 9 titanium column offers superior lateral rigidity while remaining lightweight. Feedback from Dualtron Thunder 3 riders is unanimous.

➡️ Do I need to modify the scooter?

No. The kit mounts onto the stock folding system of the Dualtron Thunder 3 with 5 screws, without any modification. Only an MTB-style stem (not included) is required to secure the handlebars.
