Good to know before ordering: 80 V is strictly for builds using controllers that support this voltage (such as VESC 84 V). On a stock Thunder 1, controllers must be replaced.
What is it for?
A rider using stock controllers and settings does not need a Performance battery: our Range battery will serve just as well for less. The Performance battery truly shines with a reprogrammed or upgraded controller (VESC, higher battery current limit), for sporty riding, track use, or with heavier riders on high-powered machines.
