The Performance 72V 28Ah battery is designed for Dualtron Thunder and Thunder 2 models where the controller has been upgraded for more power, or where the rider is tired of power cuts during acceleration. Its Samsung 40T or Molicel P42A cells deliver up to 280A peak, whereas the original battery caps out at 140A: the controller finally receives the current it demands, voltage no longer drops on inclines, and the set power is truly available.

Good to know before ordering: on a Thunder 1 (originally 60V), this 72V battery requires 72V controllers.
For what usage?
A rider using the original controller and settings does not need a Performance battery: an Autonomy battery will provide the same service for less. The Performance model makes sense with a reprogrammed or replaced controller (VESC, increased battery current), for sports use, on the track, or for a heavy rider on a powerful machine.

All our batteries are assembled in our workshop in France, exclusively using branded cells (Samsung, LG, Molicel). Each pack is equipped with a BMS that manages charging, discharging, cell balancing, and thermal protection. The price includes the pack, power and charging connectors; the charger is sold separately. Delivery to mainland France, Corsica, and the European Union only (regulated lithium transport). 2-year warranty.

Samsung 40T or Molicel P42A, what is the difference?
Both are high-discharge 21700 cells with equivalent performance; we install one or the other depending on stock, with no change in capacity or current.
Does the original charger work?
Yes, at the same voltage. To take advantage of fast charging, a suitable super charger is available separately.
