The client and context

Étendard, a company of the MCE-5 group, designs tactical vehicles for armed forces and civil security.

Spectre is an electric trial vehicle: a lightweight, silent all-terrain scooter ridden standing up, presented at Eurosatory 2024 and then at SOFINS 2025.

The challenge

A two-wheel-drive machine requires controlling two motors of different powers and making them work together.

The electronics must withstand difficult terrain and remain legible for the rider.
