The Performance 80V 32Ah battery is designed for Dualtron Thunder and Thunder 2 scooters with upgraded controllers, or for riders tired of acceleration cut-offs. Its Samsung 40T or Molicel P42A cells deliver up to 320A peak, whereas the stock battery caps out at 140A: the controller finally gets the current it demands, voltage no longer sags on hills, and your set power is truly available.
Good to know before ordering: 80V is strictly reserved for custom builds with controllers supporting this voltage (VESC 84V). On a Thunder 1, controllers must be replaced.
A rider using stock controllers and settings does not need a Performance battery: an Autonomy battery will do the job for less. The Performance battery makes sense with a reprogrammed or upgraded controller (VESC, increased battery current), for sporty riding, on a track, or for heavier riders on high-power machines.
All our batteries are assembled in our workshop in France using exclusively branded cells (Samsung, LG, Molicel). Each pack is equipped with a BMS that manages charge, discharge, cell balancing, and thermal protection. The price includes the pack, power cables, and charge connectors; the charger is sold separately. Shipping to mainland France, Corsica, and the European Union only (regulated lithium transport). 2-year warranty.
The BMS connects to a free app on Android and iOS; we will provide the exact model and settings upon delivery.
Both are high-discharge 21700 cells with equivalent performance; we use one or the other depending on stock levels, with no change to capacity or current.
