The 72 V 28 Ah Performance battery is designed for Dualtron Thunder and Thunder 2 models with upgraded controllers or for riders tired of acceleration cut-offs. Its Samsung 40T or Molicel P42A cells deliver up to 280 A peak, whereas the original battery caps out at 140 A: the controller finally gets the current it demands, voltage no longer sags on hills, and your adjusted power is truly available.
Good to know before ordering: on a Thunder 1 (originally 60 V), this 72 V battery requires 72 V controllers.
A rider using stock controllers and settings doesn't need a Performance battery: an Autonomy battery will do the job for less. The Performance model shines with a reprogrammed or upgraded controller (VESC, increased battery current), for sporty riding, on tracks, or for heavy riders on high-power machines.
All our batteries are assembled in our workshop in France using exclusively branded cells (Samsung, LG, Molicel). Each pack features a BMS managing charge, discharge, cell balancing, and thermal protection. The price includes the pack, power and charging connectors; the charger is sold separately. Delivery in mainland France, Corsica, and the European Union only (regulated lithium transport). 2-year warranty.
The BMS connects to a free app on Android and iOS; we provide the exact model and settings upon delivery.
Both are high-discharge 21700 cells with equivalent performance; we install whichever is in stock, with no change in capacity or current.
