At Rage Mechanics, we chose these brakes to equip our performance machines because they stand for power and quality.

New for 2022, the Hope Tech 4 lever delivers around 30% more braking power than the Tech3. Here it comes with a very powerful V4 caliper (4 pistons), updated in 2022.


Its master cylinder now features a lever pivot mounted on ball bearings and new internal seals that reduce friction. Thanks to these improvements, less pressure is needed at the lever, which reduces rider fatigue. The Tech 4 master cylinder mounts to the handlebar using a hinged clamp system that is very easy to fit. The BPC and Reach Adjust screws let you set the lever reach and the pad bite point without tools.

The Tech 4 V4 caliper now uses stainless steel pistons with a phenolic resin insert. This provides smoother movement and less maintenance, while handling high temperatures without heat transfer under extreme use. It is still machined from a solid block of 2014 T6 aluminium on a 5-axis CNC.

The Hope Tech 4 V4 brakes come here with a 5mm aviation-grade braided hose.

  • 4-piston caliper (2 x 18 mm and 2 x 16 mm): more powerful, more progressive and lighter
  • Stainless steel pistons with a phenolic resin insert for smoother movement and less maintenance
  • Slimmer, longer pad surface for better heat dissipation and longer pad life
  • Hose: aviation-grade braided
  • Front and rear hose length: 200mm
